Town of Battleford Welcomes New Public Safety Officer, Kevin Sloboda
Battleford, SK — [July 4, 2025] — The Town of Battleford is pleased to announce the appointment of Kevin Sloboda as its new Public Safety Officer, with an anticipated start date in early August.
Kevin brings over 20 years of professional managerial experience in municipal, provincial, and federal protective services. His leadership background includes serving as Chief of Police, Chief Enforcement Officer, and Protective Services Consultant, as well as hands-on work in emergency management, bylaw development and enforcement, traffic control, and community engagement.
With this extensive expertise and a strong record of building safer communities, Kevin is well positioned to "hit the road running” and provide a visible, proactive presence throughout Battleford. His focus will include fostering strong relationships with residents, businesses, and local stakeholders to maintain and enhance the safety and vibrancy of our community.
