2026 Battleford Parade: 150 Years of Treaty 6

The Town of Battleford is proud to announce that the theme for the 2026 Annual Parade is "150 Years of Treaty 6." This year marks a significant milestone in our region’s history, and we invite all participants to design floats that honor the spirit of the Treaty—commemorating our past and celebrating our shared future as Treaty people.

Start the Conversation We encourage local businesses and organizations to get the creative juices flowing! Gather your co-workers around the water cooler this week to discuss what your float will look like. How can your group best represent the theme of partnership, heritage, and community?

Registration Details To ensure a smooth and organized event, we ask all interested parties to register early. This helps us coordinate a parade that respectfully and vibrantly honors the 150th anniversary of Treaty 6.

  • When: August 7, 2026 at 7:00 PM.

  • Who can join? Everyone! Businesses, schools, non-profits, and cultural groups.

  • Deadline: Please register as soon as possible to secure your place in the lineup.
