Winter Water Run Program Concludes for 2026 Season

The Town of Battleford is advising residents that the Winter Water Run program has officially ended.  Following recent temperature checks and the spring thaw, the risk of frozen service lines has passed.

Notification and Meter Reads

The Utilities Department are out completing final meter reads for all participating properties to ensure accurate billing transitions. 

Information for Residents:

• Residents should now turn off the continuous stream of water used during the winter months.
• Utility bills will new reflect actual metered consumption rather than the adjusted average winter rates used during the program.
• While the frost is out, we recommend a quick check of your plumbing and taps once the flow is stopped to ensure everything is working correctly.

The Town of Battleford thanks all participants for their diligence in preventing service interruptions and water main damage during the winter season.
