IMPORTANT: Give Emergency Crews the Space to Work

The Town of Battleford would like to remind all residents of the critical procedures required when encountering emergency vehicles and active scenes.

At a Scene:

1. Reduce speed to 60km/hr or less.

2. Provide maximum space and do not stop unless directed.

3. Focus on the traffic ahead of you, not on the incident.

When Yielding:

• In Town/Single Lane: Slow down, pull to the right, and clear intersections.

• Double Lane: Move over and allow the emergency vehicle to pass.

Seconds matter in an emergency. Please respect the sirens and the lights—they are someone’s lifeline.
