Changes to Utility Disconnection Notices

Town of Battleford is changing the way we notify residents about overdue utility accounts.  We will no longer provide disconnection warnings via phone or email.  Instead, properties with an outstanding balance forward will be notified via a Yellow Door Knocker placed directly at the affected property.

Key Monthly Dates

  • Prior to the 20th: Yellow Door Knockers will be posted at properties with overdue balances. 
  • On or after the 20th: Disconnections will commence if the forwarded balance remains unpaid.

 

Service Restoration

If your water service is disconnected, the following requirements must be met before service is restored:

  1. Payment in Full: The entire balance forward must be paid.
  2. Reconnection Fee:  A $150 reconnection fee will be applied to the account.

To avoid service disruption, please ensure your account is settled before the 20th of each month.
