All businesses or persons providing goods or services in Battleford must obtain a Town of Battleford Business License. A home based business is an accessory use of a residential dwelling which does not change the residential character of the site. All home based businesses require a development permit to ensure they meet zoning regulations. If you would like to start a home based business, please determine the type of home based business you would like to operate and fill out the required application forms.
Home Based Business - Type I: a home based business owned and operated by a resident or residents of the dwelling unit with no more than seven (7) client visits per day.
Home Based Business - Type II: a home based business owned and operated by a resident or residents of the dwelling unit, but where no more than one non-resident person may be employed on the site and no more than fourteen (14) client visits per day.
