Councillor Laing is starting his fourth term as a part of a passionate group of council who all share visions and goals for the place we call home! A great community to raise a family and put down roots. Councillor Laing is a big booster of the province and brings his observations of other municipalities best practices to the council table ensuring the Town is progressive and has healthy and construction relations with neighbours and partners.
Having other families move to the Battlefords is one of Councillor Laing's goals. To help ensure families move to Battleford, Councillor Laing has recently served on the Battlefords River Valley Committee, Table Mountain board and Battlefords Housing board.
In his personal time he enjoys hockey, golf and experiencing the outdoors through hunting and fishing.
