Employee of the Month is a program to recognize and celebrate the hard work and dedication of Town of Battleford staff. This initiative aims to promote a positive and supportive workplace culture by acknowledging the outstanding contribution of individual team members.
How the program works:
- Monthly Nomination: Each Manager is responsible for nominating one employee from their department every month.
- Selection Process: Nominations will be reviewed and discussed during the next Managers' Meeting, where we will collectively decide on the winner.
Employee of the Month Criteria
Eligibility
- Must be a full-time or part-time employee of the Town of Battleford.
- Must have completed a minimum of six (6) months of employment.
Criteria for Selection

- Consistently exceeds performance expectations in their role.
- Demonstrates a high level of initiative, efficiency, and accuracy.

Nomination and Selection Process
- Nominations:
- All Managers will submit their nominations to Town Hall Reception each month.
- Managers will highlight the achievements and criteria met by the nominated employee.
- Timelines:
- Reception will finalize the nomination and selection timelines with all Managers once the rollout date for the program is determined.
- Selection:
- Nominations will be reviewed and discussed at the next Managers' meeting.
- Managers will collectively discuss and determine the winner based on the criteria and submissions.
